The matte finish is exactly what I wanted—no shiny residue at all. I use it dry for everyday wear and wet when I need a bolder line, and it holds up all day without smudging. Takes a bit of practice to get the water ratio right, but once I did, it's been my go-to.

Applying it wet gives me the sharpest wing I’ve managed with any liner, and it dries completely matte so it doesn’t smear by lunch. The little cake lasts ages since you only need a tiny bit. Comes off easily with my usual makeup remover, no tugging.

I’ve been using it dry for a soft daytime look and wet for evenings, and it stays matte the whole time without smudging. The fact that it comes off easily with the remover is a huge plus, because I hate scrubbing my eyes.
