The cushion base gives just the right amount of give, so the nylon pins work through tangles without any yanking. I've been using it on wet hair after showers and it glides through like a dream, plus my static frizz is basically gone by the time I'm done.
Bought this for my daughter who hates hair brushing, and the nylon pins really do glide through her wet hair after a bath. The cushion back gives just enough give that she doesn't wince anymore, and static has been a non-issue since we switched.
My hair is fine and tangles constantly, but this brush works through it without me yanking or cringing—even on days two and three. The cushion back gives just enough give, and static is noticeably gone after a quick pass.
