I was worried velvet headbands would slip all day, but this one’s 1.5-inch width stays put through my whole shift. The handcrafted braid gives it a nice, sturdy feel without being heavy, and it dresses up even a messy bun instantly.
The braided velvet texture catches the light nicely and holds its shape without feeling stiff, which I wasn't expecting from a 1.5-inch band. It stayed put through a full workday, even with flyaways, and the handcrafted stitching looks clean up close.
The velvet is so smooth and the 1.5" width keeps it from slipping, even when I wear it all day at my desk. I've gotten three compliments on this braid style already, it looks way more expensive than it is.
